This variety certainly has blackberry flavor, but the honey is just a little prominent in the overall taste. Whereas jams and jellies made using blackberries allow the flavor of the fruit to carry the product, with honey as the sweetener it pushes the blackberry aside enough to be noticeable. In comparison, vanilla makes for a great traditional pairing with honey and cinnamon and chai have the strength to stand up next to honey's dominant power on the tongue. Maybe some of the other fruit varieties will come across similarly to me, will only know once I try them.
