The honey is wonderful- loved the store!

Odd experience at checkout:
I realized immediately after paying that I would have preferred to purchase a different kind of honey. Still standing at the counter, I asked if I could return what I had just bought and purchase another kind instead, at which time I was told that all honey sales are final.

I understand this as a general policy, for when the honey has been in unknown conditions since purchase; but enforcing the policy blindly felt unfriendly in a situation like this.
