Our Raw Honey has never been heated or filtered, preserving its nutritional value and flavor. Honey is extracted once a year, usually in the fall. Fresh from the hive, it is in a liquid state - but only for a short period of time. It soon changes into a semi-solid, spreadable form, also known as crystallization. This is a normal natural process common to all raw, unprocessed honey.

Good for you

Since my father was head of the bee keeper's association in Iowa for many years, I often heard of the benefits of local honey. I was glad to find a source here in Omaha when I moved here about 10 years ago. My husband and daughter enjoy putting this honey on their breakfast in the morning.
